The long sail from St Barts to St Kitts...
took most of the next day...
but when the motor is off and you are completely under wind power it is quiet and peaceful and relaxing...
...looking down...
..looking up...
looking right...St Eustacious...
looking left...Basseterre, St Kitts...
...where we ate our french bread from St Barts...
and docked for the night...

Oh my goodness! I'm in awe of your images (and your most recent vacation too). You have me hooked now and great to know that you spend time in Maine in August. Lovely blog! ~Lili
BLISS...pure bliss! So much enjoying your vacation photo post... I would love to feel the sun on my toes too!...mmm... :o) Happy Day ((HUGS))
The first word that came to my mind was idyllic. I'd feel as if I were in a dream if it was me skimming across the sea in that setting.
Love your header! Very seasonal and cheery.
Oh my gosh! How did you ever tear yourself away from such a paradise?!! That second picture looking up at the mast is GORGEOUS!!
I love your new header, too!
I haven't sailed in year but totally love it, it is very relaxing and what beautiful scenery you are sailing around.
i love fresh bread and is that fresh pickles too? yum.
looks like the life for sure.
Wow. Wow. Wow. That looks amazing--all of it. The scenery, the bread, the nightlife. You seriously know how to live, my friend. xo
this post was like a mini vacation for me :)
Ahhhhhhh. I feel as though I've been there with you. Thank you!
what a trip....and the photo of the island with the colored homes is just wonderful !
We won't quite get to that warmth today, but I hear it's going to get warmish outside. Seeing your feet on deck under the blue sky and warm sun does me so much good. And then the vision of that restaurant. Did you eat on the veranda up on the second floor? What an inviting photo that is.
Beautiful photo's Gail...you've completely sucked me into to sailing the Caribbean. We were watching someone stock a big catamaran this morning, getting ready to cruise the Caribbeab. Those things are amazingly roomy!
Woops, that would be Caribbean...I'm sure you know what my fingers were trying to say!
I love the toe view and the shamrock in your header photo makes me smile every time I open your blog!
That picture of the boat is awesome. Jealous of your trip.
