Giving Thanks…

IMG_0292

…for all the big things…Family, Friends, Health, Food, Shelter, the Land and Sea… and for all the small things….melted butter, fleece jackets, children’s artwork, a good story, the smell of hot apple cider, the dance of a dry leaf caught in a whirlwind, the sound of a camera’s shutter…

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.  ~Thornton Wilder

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am participating in a blog hop sponsored by some wonderful photographers at Mortal Muses.  I will be thankful if I can find some time to visit each and every link!

I am very late to this party. What a wonder that linky list is! Wow.

I like your list of big and small things. You're so right about the camera shutter, I hadn't thought of being thankful for it, but I am.

The skin on that bird looks delectable, and I would like to know how you did it. :)

I hope your Thanksgiving was just wonderful with your family.

It looks like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Gail! I'm sorry I missed your linky party. Did you see my Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade photos last Saturday? It was years since we went to the parade and it was so much fun!
