The Key…

“What helps you to slow down, take a deep breath and enjoy the moment…”  These are the words from the prompt on day 4 of Picture the Holidays that jumped out at me.  They could be interpreted in many ways but what was the first thing I thought of?  Why a glass of wine of course…

If truth were to be told, I don’t really need help or reminding to slow down…I am the Queen of slow and enjoying the moment.  I can escape into another world at the drop of a crown.  What I need is a technique for speeding up a bit…getting a few things done at this time of year.

My turn to smile. :)

We are sister-queens of slow and needing to speed up. I raise my glass to that, to you, and to the wonderful header image of "someone" hanging a beautiful wreath of greenery.

Oh, this is just one of the many reasons why I like you so much! I love slow! Like you, I'm gradually taking out the Christmas decorations, putting them up at my own pace, and enjoying the season.

I loved your comment over at my place. I feel the same way about small cities. When I lived in Providence, I loved it, too, but I think Portland's size is just right for me--a little urban, a little small town with loads of great restaurants and amazing walking trails. Hope sometime when you're up in Maine we can meet! That would be a blast. Maybe lunch at Duckfat?! xoxo Gigi

I am the same way .. a little more of a dreamer than a do-er. In the end I get it all done, but usually it's at the end of the deadline. A glass of wine along the way is never a bad idea. :) Enjoy it!

Hi, Oliag! Here's me joining you in a glass of lovely wine and a lot of slow. Slow should be my middle name, for that is me. I don't know how to do fast! If you do find the speed up "cure", let me know. ;o) We're now back from our Thanksgiving/USA trip--had wonderful time! I'm slowing getting to visiting and such though, as I've not been feeling too well in recent days--but getting there. Great to be catching up with you and back in blogland. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))
