Spring…

In the spirit of spring renewal and rebirth I decided to dust off this neglected blog and what better place to start than with a day of  egg dying with Mr J and Miss E.

The eggs were boiled…

The dyes were mixed…

The aprons were on…

and we were ready…

Each used a different technique…

Mr J took his time experimenting with mixing different colors…

and Miss E used each bright color separately and quickly…

both methods worked well…

I tried to take pictures of each egg separately…

using both iphone and dslr cameras…

The eggs weren’t the only things dyed…

I think the hands were my favorite.

The hands were my favorite too, even before I read you saying it. The photos are gorgeous. How fortunate your family is to have you! The two closeups of the hands are magazine worthy!. Framed would be cool!

They probably thought it was just as much fun getting their hands all full of o[paint as it was their eggs!

Nice to see you again!

You're such an awesome grandmother, Gail. The kids must adore you for all the time you spend with them. I can't help but wonder how long it took to get the color off their little fingers!
