It looks like everyone enjoyed the apple picking trip. And I love a good apple cake. I'm going to have to make one soon.

Nothing! (in answer to your question) Ohh, I can't wait for this. For now, I'll try to be patient and revel in yours. The look on grandson's face is precious. I assume he still has that bite in his mouth . . . and what a perfect apple being held, fresh off the tree. May I take a bite? Is striped sweater sleeping on mommy's head? Precious! Don made apple cake last weekend, with nuts and raisins. So yummy. I like your bundt cake cooling there above your Corian.

Yay, autumn!

Sweet! Apples and grandchildren! That cake sounds and looks wonderful. I have a recipe that I love, too. I got it from a dear friend and former neighbor.

Love your candy corn header. I've been putting off buying some, because I know I won't leave it alone until it's gone. Have you tried it mixed with unsalted dry-roasted peanuts? Tastes just like a Payday candy bar.

I was just visiting another blog that featured a great apple recipe, and I told her what I'll tell you now: I'm thrilled to find your recipe because I'm on such an apple dessert kick this fall. I've been baking apple recipes like crazy. Looking forward to trying this one! xo Gigi

I love the way Young Master is trying to fit the two apples together, puzzle fashion; i love his sister trying to decide which one to eat...and falling asleep on mom's shoulders.
Wonderful post (recipe sounds divine--shame on you for making me hungry at this hour ;) )!!
