Our Puerto Rico Vacation…Day 3

La Parguera is on the Caribbean and we spent one entire day on and in the water.   Just a short walk from the paradore we met our guide and climbed into kayaks for a morning of paddling through the mangroves.  IMG_4613

I videoed part of the trip while letting Mr O do all the paddling.

The rest of the day we snorkeled and at night we went swimming in a bio-luminescent bay…magical… but some things I just couldn’t photograph…

I just caught up on your vacation photos. How nice to spend a week outdoors in a semi-tropical wonderland. I think going with a group can be fun and I certainly agree that group trips are a great way to make sure you see and do a bit of everything your destination has to offer.

Ahhhh, lovely! It's hard not to relax when you're floating on the water. Or just looking at it. Believe it or not, my favorite photo in this bunch is the food one. The lighting is perfect.

I relish the light off the water in these shots along with the light colored tree trunks and bright boats ...looks as if you had such fun capturing each moment ...

Oh my. The sound of the water in that tunnel of trees. Almost silent, except for that oar dipping in the water, echoing off the tree walls.

I smiled at your last statement and wondered whatever you might mean . . . . :-)

I really enjoyed the kayak video! What a peaceful cool way to spend a day. The mangrove roots are incredible!
