Rainy Day Lunch…

While there were severe thunderstorms and flooding in RI, I was in Newburyport taking my sister and cousin to a birthday luncheon which turned out just fine in the rain…

The table was chosen for the view…and the wine was chosen for the label…

My cousin kindly took this photo of my sister and me…bundled up as though it was autumn instead of the first day of July!

The view was damp but beautiful…

Foggy with light rain…

A good day for ducks and dinners…

What else do you do in the rain. My daughter and I went up to the mountains and did the same next to a roaring fire last weekend, just lovely. You two certainly look alike. I love seeing what bloggers look like! Pass the wine please . .

I love seeing you there! Thank you.

Such lovely people. I do love the gift of a book like that (though I haven't received one yet). It is amazing what we can create now. Did you use Shutterfly? I keep meaning to do this for someone and then it slips out of memory until it's too late for the birthday or Christmas. Maybe I will remember this year (after the wedding).

What beautiful smiles that you and your sister have! A lovely ray of sunshine on a rainy day.

I love photo books! I did them for my kids and in-laws for Christmas last year. I did learn a valuable lesson when doing them. On Shutterfly use their MANUAL cropping tool, because if you've already cropped and you let them do auto-cropping, you will lose a lot off the tops of heads! Expensive lesson!

Love the wine label!

Love the fogged-in sailboats. Also enjoyed seeing you. It may have been cold and rainy outside, but it was clearly warm and cozy inside. What else matters?

Loved this post. I noticed the photo albums, too. They make such wonderful gifts from the heart, don't they? Good to see you with your sister!

Wonderful photos! You actually look a little like my sister :-) It has been a cooler than normal July hasn't it? Not that I am complaining - I love it!
