I've been tagged by VioletSky to dig into my files and tell the story behind the fourth photo in the forth file...and what do I have to show but another picture from Maine. I got my first digital camera seven years ago, just before one of our annual vacations to Maine...My filing system is very simple...I still have one file for every single day that I have taken a picture...so this is from the file of 2002_08_07. There were only five pictures in the file, all taken from the dock of our friends' pond-side cabin, but the fourth picture is my favorite. It was obviously taken by Mr O since it is of me with both my as yet unmarried daughters...laughing as the sun sets...glass of wine in hand...This picture makes me feel happy...
...and since there are only five photos in the the whole file I thought I would make a mosaic and join the fun at the Little Red House ...
Instead of tagging four more blogs I'm afraid I will just ask that anyone who is interested to please join in...

That is a lovely mosaic! Such happy relaxed faces on your whole family and the dock almost appears to be floating in the sky!
I just had to archive most of my digital photo folders on a second exteranl hard drive in order that I would have enough C drive to upload all my recent vacation photos on my computer....it reminds me of when I had shoe boxes of photos waiting to be put in a photo albums in the days of old...lol

Hey, I really like how you all are sitting on the dock in that other pic. We have a dock just like that, but we've never lined up our chairs like that! Well, the dock is always covered with little bodies . . .
Oh, I love that picture! There is such love emanating from it, and also the one where you're laughing at something one of your girls said. So nice. :) The sunset ones aren't too shabby either. :)
Oh what a sweet moment captured in time -- that is what photography is all about! And I love what Pat said: it does look as if you are floating in the sky! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful images at Mosaic Monday. :)

what great pictures of you and your girls. I just love photos of my children. The mosiac turned aout beautifully and the clouds reflecting ont he water how lovely is that.
