Oh, my, such beauty to be found...I love the peeling bark of the birch tree...and that stubborn clump of grass, or is that sea oats?, poking up from the rocks.
How lovely! You find the most interesting places for hikes. I like the birch bark, too, but my favorite is the spiky one at the end: the plant, the trees, the sailboat mast in the distance all work.
nature's textures, in one magical shot after the other ...the light is so lovely in each photo as well.
