On the day our “warm up” hike got us a little overheated…
…I played with the Panoramic function in my camera from the top of Huguenot Head…
Hitting the Merge button in Stitch Assist is like magic…although I can see at least one of the seams…
One must take many steps to get to the top…
…but there are pleasures on the way…
….
…and one can always stop and rest…

Awesome pictures, Oliag! Now I'm wondering if my camera has panoramic function. Hmmm, now where's that manual?
gorgeous shots!!
We've both posted about trails at the park today. I love it!!
Stunning shots, and I LOVE that panoramic function. I've gotta see if mine can do that! xo
Now my husband would be talking about the geological formations and how they got there. I am interested in that too, and why Maine is so rocky. That one big cube is holding on by a thread I think, and I'm thinking that chap in the blue cap is trying to push it off. The gorgeous green with the complicated rocks are incredibly picturesque. I would LOVE a hike like this. Husband and I have been talking about needing to get out on a hike. Soon.
Hi! Thank you so much for visiting me! It's so great to me you and find your beautiful place here in blogland. :o) So much enjoying your Maine Adventures. What a beautiful family you have. And what fun you've been having. Such breathtaking views...*sigh*... And I would LOVE one of those lobster sandwiches from your previous post...mmm...I look forward to visiting again--and trawling your archives too. Happy Weekend to you & yours! :o)
Your panoramic views are fantastic. How peaceful and centering to sit at the top and drink in the view.
awesome views - quite worth the walk, eh?
what an exquisite hike thru awesome sights...nature gives you just the right work out for body AND eyes!
I alway enjoy visiting the beautiful state of Maine! I drooled looking at the clams and lobster rolls in your previous post.
We have been vacationing in the West --saw Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore and tomorrow the Grand Tetons. The best was seeing our grandson in the beginning -- and again soon at the end!
Thank you for the beautiful virtual hike, Oliag! I think you handled the panoramic feature wonderfully (not to mention those steps).
