The last one looks like ice leaves. We too have had warm weather. Bah. Winter is for snow...

Oh, these shots are glorious! All of our snow has finally melted and we are left with smashed dead grass and mud. Sigh.

My favorite is the last photo. I know only think the ice looks like leaves, but I also like the reflection of the Prussian Blue sky and the chocolaty tree branches.

Wonderful! Love the ice leaves. Thank you for sharing, oliag!

You certainly are working the melting ice to your advantage and to our pleasure! Beautiful shots, O!

I dislike the January thaw...mud and slush everywhere, especially mud in my backyard for the dog to drag in! Yuck!

"ice" leaves and angel wings--DAZZLING! We had TONS of snow here... I could send you some. ;o)

the background on that last photo looks like a painting ...

The third looks like an elephant's trunk. The last - those look like leaves, and I agree with S. Etole, when I first saw this load on google reader the other day, I thought it looked like a painting. Abstract art.

Yes, I'm with you a hundred percent.
More snow, please!

Beautiful stuff. Of course it's very warm down here at the moment. I love looking at wintery shots when it's so hot. A friend sent me a gorgeous photo of fir trees in Finland which are now on my screen saver. Sadly, they're not keeping me very cool!

Such beautiful captures of Nature's ice sculptures!

I like snow, but only enough to make everything look pretty for a day and then melt away the next day. The deep, slushy, inconvienient type of snow...no thank you!

:-)

These are great. I was out taking photos after the snow storm that hit brooklyn yesterday and thought about taking abstract photos... I didn't really get any though - was too cold to walk across the foot of snow...
