What a treat to take this walk with you. As you probably know from my blog, I'm a big fan of restorative meanders in the great outdoors too. This post inspires me to get back out there. It's been a while.

The brook does sound loud without any foliage around to muffle it. And check out how clear the water is! Brrr, it looks cold.

A walk in the snowy woods is very restorative. Isn't it interesting how snow quiets some sounds but magnifies others? I love all the photos, but especially the one looking back toward the dam. The monchromatic reflection of the trees is magnificent. I'm glad you're taking pictures again, dear friend.

I'm thinking it must be an invigorating walk in the cold. A lovely walk in the quiet of the woods.
