One of the best things about going to a flower show is getting a whiff of spring which is just around the corner..We liked the show better than ever this year...
This garden display had geometrical formal beds planted with all kinds of edible greens...
...You can't tell by this picture but this display actually had a thunderstorm with rain and lightning...
Witch hazel was one of my favorite shrubs displayed....this one is a luscious raspberry color...
My favorite garden display incorporated Andrew Goldsworthy type stone work with water features...this was just gorgeous...I love the red twig dogwood too...
I probably took more pictures of piles of stone than I did of flowers...
Now I'm just waiting for spring!

Oh, those were just lovely! I wish I were half as creative as that. I don't think I've ever seen witch hazel before and it is gorgeous. I've always loved red twig dogwood, so pretty in the winter.
Thank you for letting us have a little bit of spring!
oh gorgeous - it makes me long for the ambition to get outside and really have a nice garden.
Beautiful--I love moongates, too.
Great shots, looks like you're figuring out the camera just fine.
Ah, spring you make we wait too long!
what a wonderful space to spend a day, or two, with your camera.
makes me dream. and sigh.
it reminds me of our Canada Blooms which will be on here in March - can't wait.
Susan - Some witch hazels blossom in Feb around here and I planted one thinking that it would do that...I got the wrong kind!
Char - I wish I was a good gardener...I like to think about it more than do all the work:)
ds - I asked my husband if he could build me a moongate but he seems to think it would entail so much work he would have to quit work!
MaggieGem - Thanks - the more pictures I take the more comfortable I feel with it(the camera)
Violetsky - It is nice to get a touch of spring fever in the middle of February...hope you take pics of Canada Blooms for me!
