Oh, yours look like the floors in my mother's house! Are they pine? Very brave to refinish them. BTW, there is something on my blog for you. Oh Oliag, that floor is tremendous. I'm waiting to hear if it is pine. Is it old? Must be or you wouldn't be refinishing, right? It does my heart good. Wow.

Hope you still love it when you're done with all that work.

ds - Thank you! I can't believe I was the first person to comment on your blog!...and yes it is pine...

Ruth - You are funny!...I did know what you mean:) The floors are pine but not so very old...maybe twenty five years or so...

Char - Pine is pretty but it is so soft it does need to be refinished frequently...

bettyl - Just waiting for it to dry now!

Oh, dear! That looks much harder than installing new, pre-finished flooring! I don't think I could deal with the dust. You're very brave!
