That kind of thing happens to me all the time. I'm bad about starting to fill my electric tea kettle and going off to do just one little thing. Twenty minutes later, after I've been outside or run upstairs, I find it running all over the place. I've wasted more water that way!
I thought of this the other day, when I realized I had turned on the bathtub water to warm it up for a shower, and I walked out of the room. Took me a couple minutes to remember it.
Leslie - Time just flies when reading them or playing with photographs it seems...
vickie - I've been known to burn things too!
Tracey - It would have been worse if I didn't have a double sink...
Kamana - Lucky indeed!
ds - Hope you got there in time...
Susan - Been there, done that!
willow - Thanks! Sile-stone rather than granite...
VioletSky - Thanks! The faucet is a Grohe I believe...I would probably have the computer in there too but there really isn't a good outlet anywhere convenient....
Megan - That sounds like fun!...If I needed to wash the floor too:)
Silver Fox - There is always a bright side to look upon!
Baino - Now that could be fun...
Ruth - Glad we have all been able to laugh at our forgetfulness!
Sandra - Thanks! ...and a souffle is a good comparison...nice and airy...

I'm experiencing some huge counter top envy!
I was thinking exactly as Willow. And I love the faucet, as well. I'd be spending time in your kitchen. Maybe even have my computer in there.
Ha! I'd be so tempted to blow those bubbles all about!
Well, that's one way to clean the floors...
I did that with a spa in a hotel once. Put shampoo in it. Apparently it's a 'no-no' took 2 days to get rid of the froth!
Oh, thank you for the good giggle! Wonderful.

It looks like an enormous souffle. Kitchen envy here, too. So pretty.
