Hi Delwyn! - #1 is a petal of some sort...I think from a dogwood tree...there were many petals around on the ground but I never could find the source:)
Susan - That is the one shrub I'm not sure of but it is surely a laurel of some type I think
Tracey - I live near Arcadia with an "r"...a RI state park...I visit Acadia National Park in ME every August...I'm doubly lucky.
Char - I'm noticing a lot more since I've been photographing...that is what I enjoy about it the most I think...

I recognize the lady's slipper at the bottom, but what is that scintillating shot in the middle? I don't recall ever seeing it. Beautiful finds!
