Ho Oliag
what is #1 - it looks like an anthurium without a stamen

Happy days

I recognize the lady's slipper at the bottom, but what is that scintillating shot in the middle? I don't recall ever seeing it. Beautiful finds!

Gorgeous! Are you in Arcadia National Forest now? We are headed there in July. Or are you in a different part of the world?

Kamana - From this angle they really do don't they!

Hi Delwyn! - #1 is a petal of some sort...I think from a dogwood tree...there were many petals around on the ground but I never could find the source:)

Susan - That is the one shrub I'm not sure of but it is surely a laurel of some type I think

Tracey - I live near Arcadia with an "r"...a RI state park...I visit Acadia National Park in ME every August...I'm doubly lucky.

Char - I'm noticing a lot more since I've been photographing...that is what I enjoy about it the most I think...
