Visiting Family...

We spent a nice long weekend visiting family that live outside of Washington DC and while there we took a day trip to Dumbarton Oaks Gardens...It turned out to be a good place for three generations to wander about...and a good place to take lots of photos...

Hello on Thursday Oliag
Is that a wisteria arbor I can see?
I adore wisteria. I can smell that rose - truely you know how the senses can get tricked...

LOVE shooting in places like this! Longwood Gardens is my go-to spot. Some more pics from that garden coming soon to my blog :0)

That looks quiet European to me, like it's been there a while. There are some great patterns and designs in those images. It also looks to be relatively free of people - or maybe you just managed to get shots without many.

What a perfect rose!

Oh, I have always wanted to go there! The next time we visit my SIL in Alexandria, VA, I'm going to go there. That rose picture is gorgeous!

My son went to university in Washington DC, and we got to know the city well. It's full of beauty and wonderful neighborhoods.
