Great fireworks display... thanks for sharing, I managed to miss my town display this year. :-(

your shots are great - my 4th could have been better....i either broke my camera, my lens or both. somehow i didn't make sure it was hooked to the plate securely on the tripod plate...and when i decided i needed to move, my camera and 100mm lens crashed to the hard concrete.

Sweet fireworks photos! I used to be able to take them with my old Olympus point and shoot. But I haven't figured out night shots on the Nikon yet. Bleh.

The pursuit of happiness today is staying indoors out of the heat, after a glorious weekend outside at the lake.

Wow! you can shoot fireworks. I am impressed! Looks like it was a glorious Fourth in Arcadia.
Today I pursued happiness through a book (surprise).

Oh, what fun--LOVE these photos! July 4th is no holiday here in Norway, and neither is Thanksgiving. Living abroad, those are the two holidays I miss. But we Americans abroad take our customs with us. ;o) However, I have a cold just now--not much fun in summer--so no grand 4th celebrating this past weekend here... *sniffles*... ((HUGS))

Great fireworks images! Unfortunately, there were none to be found where we were visiting my parents :0( Maybe next year...

Good job photographing the fireworks! I have yet to learn how to take good night time shots or slow shutter speeds, etc. I need lessons.

We watched Macy's fireworks on TV. The new upper Hudson River location is not Brooklyn friendly.
