Perfect summer, yes! Yours that I especially agree with: road trips, summer birthdays (yay), the smell after rain, thunderstorms (like last night), eating outside at a restaurant, ripe melon, county fairs, baseball on the radio. All so yummy.

I will not agree so much with happiness over hair curling in the humidity though (as long as it's mine). Last night we had to stand up the beautiful corn that fell over in a rainstorm, and string it up. I guess the soil is too loamy. (No ears yet.) My hairdo became a freak show. :)

I love your list and the photos, especially the chicken. I need to find an outdoor flea market and a good mystery book. Someone else can mow my lawn though.

I love this post! Summer is filled with so many wonderful experiences.

I seem to have a problem with humdiity this summer, however, so I am hoping that part does not last much loger! :)

Summer birthdays are the best! I had blueberries on my cereal this morning and I have a green striped mug. This post rang very true for me.
Christina and Se"lah have done a wonderful job of bringing us all together.

I love the happy picture your lists paints of your summer. My favorites are the smell of honeysuckle and hair that curls in the humidity. That's my daughter for sure.
