When we lived in Istanbul, our daughter who was five used to eat these 10 at a time! The skin around her mouth and on the palms of her hands became orange - from the inside. I've heard that beta cerotene is richer in tangerines than in other citrus.

Your photograph reminds me of Cezanne's painting of a bowl of oranges. Very pretty. And speaking of pretty...your mother was a stunner.
Oh, wow, Oliag. I love these. I especially love the first two because of the color of the bowl in contrast with the bright oranges!
And, now I'm craving clementines. :)
