I tried to explain to my 3yr old grandson that snow is either perfect for making snowmen or for sledding - but not usually for both. Today the snow was perfect for sledding...a nice icy crust that had a pleasing crunch when it was broken into... like creme brulee...Today's photos taken by Mr. O. as I was busy sledding!

I haven't gone sledding in eons. It hasn't snowed very much here in that amount of time either. It looks like both boys were having fun.

I can see the magic in the little boy's eyes. makes my heart feel good and my mind drift to a time when I too took leave and found the biggest hill. That was last year. This year it is all about work but, am so glad to enjoy this event through your photos, Thanks for sharing. C.S.
