I don't really make any resolutions on New Year's Day...I know myself too well for that but if I did it would be to keep in touch with family and friends better than I do...and maybe I would add to scan and organize my old photos...and to find a reasonable photography class..and clean out my store room... and to do some landscaping in the yard...and to eat healthier foods...and to read more...and exercise more... in the end I would not acheive all these goals so I will focus on one main resolution: to make more time for joy and beauty.

joy and beauty are two wonderful things. life and this world are full of both! all we have to do is open are eyes to them, no? and as you said, make more time for them. this is one great resolution! and from these pictures, it looks as though you have already started. :)
