Photography Class Starts...

I'm taking an adult ed photography class for eight weeks to help keep me motivated to take more pictures and to learn more than the basics...

In the first class we really just started to get to know one another and the instructor started getting to know our individual skill levels and what we hope to get out of the class...all levels of skill present and every single camera is different...

...we wandered the high school hallways taking pictures...

...we took pictures with different iso settings...

...and different perspectives...

..our homework for the week is to read the entire manual that came with our camera...somehow I never did read the whole thing!

I am looking forward to seeing what you do in these 8 weeks! What kind of camera do you have?

ELK - I hope it's lots of fun! The cameras range from a fancy $1500 Nikon to a small point and shoot Kodak..they just have to be digital..

Leslie - I just hope to learn how to use more of the that I never touch!...and maybe some editing...I use a Canon G9...a fancy point and shoot..

Awesome. I so want to take a class too.

Your shots are wonderful, artistic and creative. I really like the patterns you've seen and framed. Love 'em all, but I think my fave is the top one. Great!

That's a good assignment. I've lost mine! I wish I could find it. I may have to write Nikon and get another.
