I felt like a queen when we got our share of our friends CSA for three weeks. Alas, it's over. But now we have a farmers market in our little town, we're so excited.
I checked out a CSA in our area, but missed out on the deadline for this summer. Gonna try again next year. I hope we get a lot from our small garden. The radishes look all misty and yummy and the strawberries looks sooo much better than store-bought ones.

Yum! I don't care for radishes, but I can do some damage to those strawberries! They are so good this time of year!

Ruth - I haven't quite decided if the farmer's market would be better than committing to the whole CSA...I would just have to get there super early!
Tracey - The strawberries were the first of the year and very tiny and extraordinarily sweet! Just like the old days...
Char - Even if we can find strawberries at the market year round now...those big huge ones are just not the same..
Susan - I thought we were too late too but could just make it! The radishes were yummy...eaten plain, dipped in salt...
