I certainly don’t consider myself a Michael Jackson fan although I think he was a talented musician and dancer…but it is hard for me to listen to some of his music without wanting to get up and dance….The recent bombardment of news of his death and the stories of his life reminded me of a Christmas gift I once gave to my daughter, who was a little too old for such a gift so it went into a store room basically untouched…It ,in turn, is a reminder of my younger self dancing in the kitchen to “Billie Jean” and “Beat It” with my young girls…
It also inspired a little dancing in the kitchen to “Thriller” by the same girls and their mother this evening…no photos available!

though I didn't always agree with what he did as a person and a father, I cannot ignore he was a great musician. that gift will probably make you some money now (if you like to sell stuff)
what a shame there are arent an photos of the dancing sessions :)
a friend of mine has been inconsolable since MJ's death. she has always been a huge fan of his and has spent so much money over the years travelling to his concerts, buying MJ paraphanellia, etc.
Oh, I was hoping to see the dancing jam! I liked MJ when I was little, but can't get past his horrible adulthood.
Such a sad life for a talented man.
I loved your memory of Little Women on my book posting. That's truly a wonderful book!
I watched the entire 13-minute Thriller video on TV Guide network last evening. He was a tremendous talent even though his lifestyle gave me the creeps.
Obviously, the Jackson family has taken control of every aspect of his life as even the YouTube video has been disabled.
