Playground Exposure…

I’m not reluctant to take both grandchildren to the playground by myself anymore…it really isn’t too much to handle…the worst part is dealing with two car seats…Today I probably played as much as they did, only I played with my camera’s exposure settings…

…to overexposing…

…and later I played with cropping. Still can’t decide how I like these circles cropped…cropping some out or leaving the circle whole…Fun to play with though…

…And today my models were enjoying getting their pictures taken!

I love experimenting with my camera. Unfortunately it won't do much more than point and snap.

I love that last shot of the kids.

the last shot is perfection itself.

the others I might would crop to a square and see how they looked.

You know, with the trends in photography these days, even overexposed is good. I like the crop in the top one. I thought it was the moon at the thumbnail!

Yes, the last one is brilliant.

The grands make it easy, don't they? That last shot is adorable!

steviewren - Thanks! It is hard to take a bad picture of them I admit!

Char - Thanks for your advice...I've tried it and it does look great...I think I like the cropping best when the circle isn't completely shown...I like things asymmetrical...

Ruth - Shutter Sisters had a post regarding overexposing on purpose and some of the responses were enchanting...I like the first crop best too:)

elk - Thanks! Being a grandma is the most fun I've ever had I think!

Susan - Exactly! Like I said, it is hard to take a bad pic of them:)
