I haven’t seen yellow flag growing wild in many years but we happened to take a walk in the nearby management park at just the right time to see these in bloom…
…And then today the blue flag by the nearby pond blossomed…

Irises are so pretty, especially growing wild like that! My irises have been extraordinary this year! I've never seen so many blooms on them. I don't know if it was the long cool spring, or all the chicken poop I washed off my patio and into the flower bed last summer and fall! :)
